Refund policy

At SchmalzTech we pride ourselves on having high quality products that will make electronics design work fast and easy.  Customer satisfaction is our top priority, so we offer a 30-day return policy on all of our products.  If you are unsatisfied for any reason we want to make it right.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@schmalztech.com. Once your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
If any items purchased from us arrive damaged or are discovered to be defective we will provide a replacement item that is the same as or equivalent to the defective product.  To be eligible for a return or replacement for a damaged item, we must be notified that the item arrived defective within 6 months of the purchase date.

Please note that this policy does not apply for damaged caused by the customer after receipt of the item.  Damage caused by the customer will not be eligible for refund or return.

For items determined to be defective we will issue a return label for you to send the item back so we can inspect the product.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or customized items). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.


Exchanges
If you would like to exchange your item please reach out to us at support@schmalztech.com.  Our customer support will help to make sure you get the product you need.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
